We collect only what is necessary to provide our services:

Email address — when you subscribe to our newsletter or use a save/share feature. You provide this voluntarily.

Usage data — via Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Analytics. This includes pages visited, time on page, approximate location (country/region), and device type. We use this data to improve our tools.

Calculator inputs — numbers you enter into our calculators are processed in your browser and are not stored on our servers unless you explicitly save or share your results.

Contact form submissions — name, email, subject, and message when you contact us through our contact form.

We use collected data to:

- Send you the newsletter or rate alerts you signed up for - Respond to contact form inquiries - Analyze how our tools are used so we can improve them - Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

We use the following cookies and tracking technologies:

Google Analytics 4 — We use GA4 to understand aggregate usage patterns. GA4 uses cookies to track sessions. You can opt out via your browser settings or Google's opt-out tools.

Vercel Analytics — Privacy-friendly analytics from Vercel that does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information.

Session storage — We use sessionStorage (not cookies) to track whether you've seen our exit-intent popup during a browsing session. This data stays in your browser and is never sent to our servers.

We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to ad networks.

We use the following third-party services:

Vercel (vercel.com) — Website hosting and edge functions. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.

Resend (resend.com) — Email delivery for newsletter subscribers. See Resend's Privacy Policy.

U.S. EIA API — We fetch public diesel price data from the Energy Information Administration. No personal data is shared.

You have the right to:

For California residents (CCPA): We do not sell personal information. You have the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to request deletion.

Email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months to allow us to follow up on inquiries. Analytics data is subject to Google Analytics' data retention settings (14 months by default).

We may update this privacy policy periodically. When we make significant changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of TruckLeap after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
